Backgrounds: Weight loss is anthropometric important in infancy and toddler. Barru in the number of infants weighed as much as 13 959 in 2013, which recorded weighed as much as 10 596. The study aims to reveal the child’s weight based on employment toddler’s mother, maternal education, and history of infectious disease.
Methods: This type of research is descriptive research. Samples are all children aged 1-3 years as many as 65 children were selected in total sampling.
Results: The results showed that the child’s weight within the normal ranges as much as 6 people with education Mrs. SD, the child’s weight category over as many as 9 people with education Mother SMP, the child’s weight within the normal ranges as much as 6 people with education Mother SMA and weight of children in normal category of 4 people with a college education Mother, then the child’s weight within the normal ranges as many as 18 people whose mother did not work and the child’s weight in the weight category is very less as many as 12 people who have had a history of infections (ARI).
Conclusions: The conclusions of this research is the child’s weight is at most that a child’s weight is as much as 9 people were mother junior high school education, the child’s weight is at most that the child’s weight normally about 18 people who work mother did not work, and the child’s weight is at most that the child’s weight is very less as many as 12 people who have had a history of infectious disease (ispa). Advice to mothers to bring their children for regular visits to the IHC to perform inspection / weighing to prevent malnutrition.
