PELATIHAN KADER GIZI SEKOLAH DASAR DALAM PEMILIHAN MAKANAN JAJANAN SEBAGAI BENTUK KEGIATAN PENGABDIAN PADA MASYARAKAT

ABSTRACT

Background : As the school health efforts listed in the state legislation, including one of the country’s obligations must be fulfilled. Street food in schools is one of the determinants of health of school children if not addressed, could adversely affect the achievement of educational goals. The fact that there are snack food to children in school in Indonesia, including in Makassar some have not healthy. The unhealthy snack food consumption close connection with the knowledge of nutrition and feeding behavior of school-age children. To improve the behavior of street food among other school children be efforts to increase knowledge and attitudes through training.

Objective : The study aims to produce a cadre of school nutrition who has sufficient knowledge and attitude in the selection of healthy snack foods.

Methods : In this activity has produced a cadre of school nutrition as many as 30 people from elementary school Muhammadiyah Paccerakkang and State Elementary School Pajaiyang.

Conclusion: community service activities such as training of primary school has produced a cadre of 30 people, who have sufficient knowledge and attitude in the selection of street food. It is advisable to continue the training of cadres schools well in primary and secondary schools to improve the selection of street food.
